Important Notes

1. The OV-X2 17° viewfinder is a standalone viewfinder only and does not have built-in metering capability. It needs to be used in combination with the Area 2S meter for light metering.

2. Difference between the OV-X2 17° and OV-X1 17° viewfinders: The X2 features bright composition frame lines for 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm; the X1 does not have composition frame lines. For other differences, please refer to the comparison chart below.

3. The OV-X2 17° viewfinder is an independent optical viewfinder and does not display metering results inside. The viewfinder does not communicate or sync with digital/film cameras.

4. In low-light or high-contrast scenes, the bright frame lines may not be immediately visible. This is normal. In such cases, move your eye up, down, left, or right to locate the frame lines.

5. All frame lines in the OV-X2 17° viewfinder are displayed simultaneously; it is not possible to display only one set of frame lines at a time.

6. The OV-X2 17° viewfinder comes with a cold shoe, allowing it to be mounted directly on your camera's cold/hot shoe.

7. When using the OV-X2 17° viewfinder on a non-full-frame camera (e.g., APS-C), equivalent conversion is required. Please convert the focal length of your lens to its full-frame equivalent.
