Viewfinder style
Choose waist-level if you prefer to shoot from the hip or chest with the camera held low — all four waist-level finders in this collection mount on a cold or hot shoe and fold flat for travel. Choose side-axis if you want a classic eye-level finder that sits in your hot or cold shoe and stays out of the way of your lens.

Focal length
Pick the focal length that matches your lens. Single-focal-length finders are available in 17°, 21 mm, 24 mm, 28 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, and 50 mm. If you shoot more than one lens, look for multi-mask or multi-focal-length models that cover combinations such as 21/28/35/50 mm or 28/35/50 mm — you change the framing mask or optical element rather than the whole finder.

Film or digital?
All optical viewfinders in this collection work with film and digital cameras alike — any body with a standard cold or hot shoe accepts them. If you're reviewing negatives or slides, the FFFILM Film Viewer (Mini, Classic, or Promax) uses LED illumination at a calibrated D50 colour temperature for accurate viewing of both Fuji and Kodak film stocks.
