It can be directly installed on a flat top rangefinder camera, such as types of Barnack cameras.

The front and rear mirrors of the viewfinder are coated with multiple layers of anti reflective coating, making the viewfinder clearer. Purple coating is magical and beautiful.
The viewfinder frame is black, the center circle of the black frame is 17° metering area.
Equivalent 135 format with a focal length of approximately 135mm.

Large eyepieces provide a better viewing experience, making you less fatigued!
A small objective lens allows you to focus on the view, just like appreciating a painting on a wall.

Switch the LightMate Area 2S to the "Classic Dial" face on the M-series film camera.

The volume of LightMate Area 2S is not large, and its minimalist design can be paired with most cameras.

Q&A Highlights
Q: What is the function of the metering viewfinder?
A: It allows you to align frame lines with your subject for precise metering, preventing errors from unwanted elements entering the metering area.
Q: Can the viewfinder be used for composition?
A: Yes, the OV-X2 features 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm bright composition frame lines and can be used as a camera viewfinder. The OV-X1 has a circular field and is for metering only.
Q: Why are my metering results different from my camera's?
A: Differences can arise from optical axis alignment, metering angle, metering mode, and ISO calibration variations. This is normal for any external meter. For best results, avoid direct comparison with digital camera TTL metering.
